Number saving
You have a SIM card of your home mobile operator and you don’t want to miss the calls on it during an international trip while wishing to save on roaming calls (both incoming and outgoing). Connect “Number saving” service and receive the calls from your Latvian (“home”) number to Novikontas Connect card!
Let’s suppose you have a Latvian SIM card with number +3716XXXXXXX and a Novikontas Connect card with number +371 2222XXXX. During an international trip you are planning to switch off the Latvian number and receive all the calls to the Novikontas Connect card.
To activate this service, you should do the following steps:
Step 1: While with the Novikontas Connect - card, dial the following command: *146*88*3716XXXXXXX# then press the Call button. A message saying that the activation code has been sent to you will appear on the display. The four-digit confirmation code, e.g. 1234, will be delivered as a text message to the Latvian number specified by you.
Step 2: While with the Novikontas Connect card, dial the command once again but now with the confirmation code, e.g.
*146*88*3716XXXXXXX*1234#, where 1234 s the activation code from the text message received in the Step 1.
The activation code is valid for 10 minutes, and sending the activation code is rated as a text message via the SIM Menu.
Step 3: Forward your Latvian number to the offered number.Cost of forwarding you can know to your Latvian mobile operator!
There are several types of forwarding. To our opinion, the next two types are the most appropriate:
- **62*number#- forward all calls if out of reach
##62# - cancel forwarding if out of reach - **21*number# - forced forwarding of all calls
##21# - cancel the forced call forwarding
In the first case the forwarding will be activated in case you are out of reach. As you leave, you switch the main number off and the calls come to the Novikontas Connect card. Upon your return, you switch the main number back on and the calls come as usual.
Using service Number saving service the cost of the incoming calls (coming to the Russian number) incases. Will be added 0.35 EUR to the standard rate. In case this service is used in a country, in which the incoming calls are free of charge, then only the above fee will be charged.
Cost for the calls to the primary number of the Novikontas Connect card remains unchanged and the outgoing calls from the Novikontas Connect are also rated in accordance with the general provisions.
Cancellation of the service: To cancel the service “Number saving”, repeat Step 1 when Novikontas Connect card is insert. You will receive the message, that service has been deactivated. Don’t forget to deactivate also the call forwarding service in the Latvian “home”SIM card.
